Wood turning: Black Oak and Resin bowl

This is a bowl I made from some very pretty, and very old Oak. I made it as a Christmas present for my step-mom. I think it would've been a lot shinier if I had used sanding sealer, but I like it they way it came out. Thanks for watching and as always, let me know if you have any suggestions.
