The B-lymphocytes start as naive B-cells, then they recognize the antigen and mature. Next, they will change into Memory B-cells, and Plasma cells. Plasma cells secrete antibodies (immunoglobulins or gammaglobulins). These antibodies are IgM, IgG, IgE, IgA, and IgD. Each immunoglobulin has 2 heavy chains and 2 light chains.
