He was an American producer and independently wealthy man, possessed a political awareness, and refused numerous offers to join friend Nick Rockefeller and the elite. Russo was all too aware of what was really going down behind the curtain of American politics and, moreover, was not afraid to let the public know what he knew. His documentary, "America: From Freedom to Fascism", put him in hot water with the elites; his revelatory interview with Alex Jones made it worse. He died shortly afterwards at the age of 64.
