Today I'm going to be doing a review and taking a detailed look at Express VPN, a VPN best known for its ease of use and incredible level of security, setting it apart from even some of the best known VPNs out there, while still providing many great features to protect you online. As always, I will leave links to the BEST OFFERS for Express VPN in the description. Let's dive in. ExpressVPN Review. Express VPN has over 3000 servers across 160 locations in 94 countries. This means that wherever you are in the world, you'll be able to connect to a server near you. Now this is important because typically connecting to a server that's closer to you will provide better speeds. Additionally, connecting to and switching between servers in most cases only takes less than a second. Now Express VPN supports all major platforms from desktop to mobile, as well as browser extensions, even providing a router app which lets you protect any and all devices connected to your router such as security cameras or other smart devices. Express VPN allows you to connect up to five devices simultaneously. While some other VPN lets you connect more chances are five will be enough to connect all your devices from your phone, computer, tablet and TV. Alright, so let's go ahead and take a look at the application. Now right now we're going to be looking at the macco s app. ExpressVPN Review. However, the Windows app is very similar. Right off the bat, what stood out to me is just how user friendly and simple the application is. As you can see we have a very simple user interface and the app primarily runs in this small window. I also like the menu bar app that runs alongside the main app, making it quick and easy to change your location disconnect or go to the help section on their website whilst using other apps. ExpressVPN Review. And this brings us to the speed test. Now I've run several tests and put the data in a table. First is the baseline with no VPN. As you can see, I averaged around 60 megabytes per second download and five megabytes per second upload using smart location where ExpressVPN finds what it believes to be the best server for me in this case in the UK as I am based in the UK, you can see the speeds are largely retained. In this case only seeing a slight drop in the download and upload speed. But you can see this is only around an 8% change, we see similar results for Sweden and Israel. Further down in the US I've connected to both east as well as the West Coast and found numbers to be strong in LA for example, there's only a minimal change in speed. ExpressVPN Review. Finally, in Asia speeds continue to be largely retained. Yes, there's a drop but not so significant to point where this will stand out in day to day use. As with any speed test, there are many different factors to consider.
