Urban Meyer Fired By Jacksonville Jaguars, Ending One of the Worst Coaching Stints in NFL History

Urban Meyer was fired by Shad Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier Thursday, mercifully ending one of the most tumultuous first years as an NFL Head Coach of all time. Scandal after scandal, failure after failure, Meyer is yet another cautionary tale that the transition from the NCAA to the Pros is not just hard on the athletes, but on Head Coaches as well.
