The Weaver Ants make nest by pulling leaves and joining them with silk. Adults do not have silk, but their juveniles do have.
The worker ants bring the juveniles and stimulate them to secrete silk, and the silk is used to join the leaves and also to seal the gaps.
The video shows the repairing of a ruptured nest.
