Intense randomish copy-paste | The attitude of pride, how Lucifer fell, trust in man(consensus, "science"), "god of this world"(2 Corinthians 4:4), who "masquerades as an angel of light"(2 Corinthians 11:14), reason, science, human rights, yet is "the father of lies"(John 8:44). How little man actually knows, just how messed up we are, why "science" can be so easily wrong, assuming much(in some cases seemingly reasonably so, too), interpreting data, rather than simply providing it(such as with the age of the Earth)...

Know just how messed up man is, and you'll see the mob mentality, political correctness, denying reason, ultimately, all the while claiming the one's who have it(humility, acknowledging reality/the nature of man), are without.

"You always underestimate the number of stupid people around you".
At first I didn't think this was possible, because I believe everyone is stupid.
Then I realized that I hadn't included myself in the count..."

"The depravity of man is at once the most empirically verifiable reality but at the same time the most intellectually resisted fact.”
― Malcolm Muggeridge

"You cannot slander human nature; it is worse than words can paint it.”
Charles H. Spurgeon

"A lie gets halfway around the world while the truth is just getting it's shoes on" - Mark Twain

“The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities” -Ayn Rand

"The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator."
- Louis Pasteur, founder of microbiology

Henry Margenau - former president of the American Association for the Philosophy of Science, a physics professor at Yale University and former editor of Reviews of Modern Physics (Margenau got his start in physics at the University of Nebraska):

“It is often said, and widely believed, that scientists on the whole are anti-religious or, at least, are not interested in religion. I believed that for a long time too. But no longer. ...as I perceive it, the fact is, the scientists, the physicists at least, who have been most active, most successful in developing the quantum theory and further innovations in physics, are very interested in religion. If you consider scientists of the type of high school teachers or grade school teachers or Carl Sagan, you find that, yes, there is a lack of interest. Quite a few of them are anti-religious. But, if you take the outstanding physicists, the ones who have done the most to advance modern physics, especially Heisenberg, Schrödinger, Dirac, you will find them all interested in religion. All these men were intensely interested in religion.” [In “The Intellectuals Speak out about God”, Chpt. 3, ed. R. A. Varghese, 1984, p. 45]

"The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you"
- Werner Heisenberg, founder of quantum mechanics

"truth is complex and can cost you a lot...lies are cheap and easy" - Look At This YT commenter

"A lie fears being questioned, The Truth does not"

"I would teach children music, physics, and philosophy." - Plato

“No one is hated more than those who tell the truth” - Plato

“Sanity and happiness are an impossible combination.” - Mark Twain

"The Emperor has no clothes!" - Hans Christian Andersen

Science and "religion" are meant to be one and the same, but trust in consensus/man is opposite of true science, denies the reality/science of the nature of man - me lil

"The Christian life is a life of non-conformity" – R. C. Sproul.

"THE DEFECTS OF PEER REVIEW
So we have little evidence on the effectiveness of peer review, but we have considerable evidence on its defects. In addition to being poor at detecting gross defects and almost useless for detecting fraud it is slow, expensive, profligate of academic time, highly subjective, something of a lottery, prone to bias, and easily abused."
