1960, THE ANN SOUTHERN SHOW
Oscar Pudney played by Jesse White is the Hotel's magazine stand owner and has a bit of larceny running through his veins but is outdone in that respect by his looser Cousin Shelly played by Robert Strauss. Cousin Shelly shows up in dire straights and is looking for money. Oscar overhearing a conversation by Ann Southern played by Katy O'Conner where she is making arrangements for a stay at the hotel by a cattle baron from Argentina where everything will by comped by the hotel. He has Cousin Shelly impersonate the cattle baron who is not due to show up for 2 weeks so that the two men might have an all expense paid vacation themselves. Ann finds out she has been duped and dreams up a way to get the money back that has been pilfered from the hotel by the two men.
