Welcome back team! We walked a few places today related to #FDR. We did the #HydePark trail, the #FranklinDRoosevelt #NationalHistoricSite, and #EleanorRoosevelt National Historic Site. The trail was a great easy walk and warm up that lead to either estate depending on your direction. The main home as well as #ValKill and #StoneCottage were magnificent and we were even able to learn more about the history through the signs and the audio tour on the trail. We toured the grounds to see the beauty with which they were able to live and host guests, and the #RoseGarden where they wanted to be buried, before ending our exploration in the current planted rows in front of the library FDR designed.
