B Encouraged: Our Confidence Is Strong When We Remember God's Tenacious Faithfulness (12/14/2021)

Reflecting upon Caleb in scripture and the beautiful moment when he takes his land in Joshua 14. In the midst of a long 'wait,' Caleb reminds himself of God's goodness and faithfulness. Our pragmatism can get us to be afraid of time whereby we fear in the face of time passing, rather than rejoice in what God is doing. The promise walked Caleb through the 40 years in a manner that kept Caleb strong and young. The 'it is' of the promise was stronger than the 'not yet'. Be encouraged: do not let time be louder than your confidence in the promise - God faithfully delivers.
