Magic Mirror 149 - Ant Theology

I figured the last thing an ant would see, before getting crushed, is the sneaker logo on the soul of the shoe. Survivors of such stompings would swear by the power of these awesome deities.

The stories of old, in the ant hills near and far.
The religions of ants differ, depending on where you are.

Some pray to one God, saying please o’mighty feed us.

These ants all worship a wondrous God and his name is Adidas.


In a desert in America, the ants endure the pain.

They gather and make offerings to their God, to make it rain.

The God they worship is cumbersome, the survivors left in shock.

For they know their mighty deity, as the powerful Reebok.


And in a city some ants repent their sins as that’s what’s in their psyche.

They put their icon on a pedestal, their icon’s name is Nike.


But one group of ants think these Gods are far too hard to handle.

The only God they follow is an old brown leather sandal?
