Spiritual Symbolism of Sheep & Goats

Imagery has always been an effective way of communication and a society can be understood by how it interprets it’s symbols.
The images of the Sheep and the Goat have deep rooted meaning in the history of Western Culture but these meanings have experienced a drastic change in recent years where we’re seeing values flipped.
Confucius said “Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws”, though I don’t believe this to be completely true it can be noted that through the “Signs & Symbols” used in a society we can see it’s heart and know it’s spirit.
