Here's another secret Roku trick to unlock, turn on, and get access to developer mode for those who want to get their dork on and install apps of their own. (Roku 1, Roku 2, Roku 3 etc)

Instructions to unlock access to developer settings mode:
Start from Home screen
Press Home key 3 times
Press the Up key 2 times
Then press right, left, right, left, right
You should now see the developer settings screen.

You will need to write down the username and URL it provides on YOUR screen. It will also prompt you to create a password. This will be used to log in from your computer.
