Full dystopia: unjabbed Australian at gas station prevented by clerk from paying by bank card

In yet more news of the full dystopia which awaits those countries that are controlled by Schwabians, an unjabbed Australian prevented by petrol station clerk from paying by bank card for his fuel. The attendant seems to be acting under the guidance of new Schwabian regulations. In fact, the attendant clerk tells the unfortunate Aussie that the Schwabians intrude on the transaction by mulcting clerks who don't require clients to ID themselves through the vaxpass system prior to the transaction. So we see the Hobson's choice for the clerk: whether to allow the transaction with penalty to himself, or penalize his customer by enforcing the client's submission to the vaxpass.

Remark that in an un-intermediated cash transaction, the client and the clerk are the only two parties; whereas in the Schwabian economy the bank and the state gain access to what was once a private transaction.
