Dr. Thomas is the Founder and President of Operation Hope USA; a nonprofit organization that pays for food, shelter, and education for children internationally. Operation HOPE's mission is to empower, enhance, and enable people who are underserved or in need. From hungry children in West Texas to families in Haiti, Operation HOPE has been there and will continue to bring the message of Christ's love.
Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and other medical associations. He has received numerous awards and honors from all over the world including for his work in Iraq and Turkey; as well as the Red Cross Medical Champion of the Year Award and The Ellis Island Medal of Honor award. He has been an honorary guest speaker in Washington DC and colleges.
He received his medical degree in 1993 from University of Texas Health Science and is a general surgeon specializing in larproscopic and least invasive surgeries. However he has come to be at the forefront of treating COVOD 19 patients in Texas where he traveled from to stand with Michigan Frontline Doctors and United Healthcare Workers.
He has successfully treated over 900 Covid patients during this pandemic which is why we felt it was so important that he shares with Michigan his approach, so we can learn how to better protect ourselves and our families members while we are in the midst of this pandemic.

Sadly, many MI Democrat Senators refused to meet with him and the other Frontline Doctors. We hope Michigan lawmakers listen soon, as hundreds of Michiganders are dying.
