Perla Del Mar Maduro M Cigar Review

This 4.75x52 sharp box pressed stick features a firm, thick toothy dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight but visible seams, a large double cap and pungent manure and sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a earth, wood and charred leaf combo with a slightly sweet spice on the smooth finish. The first third burns quickly but still with big flavor. Notes change to a creamy coffee, still on the deep side with a pepper joining the spice. Ash is short and flaky. The 1/2 way point comes at 20 minutes with no changes. Ending at 45 minutes the last third drops the coffee going to a zingy spicy deep earth with the same through the finish.
