Pergamino Torpedo Cigar Review

This 6x54 torpedo stick offers a dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, a firm even pack and a sweet chocolate and hay aroma. First light reveals a very snug draw with minimal smoke output. Flavors are medium bodied with a sweet oily tobacco taste, a rich oily mouthfeel and a pepper and spice finish. The first third develops to an oily sweet smooth caramel as the main flavor with a smooth soft tobacco lingering along side. The finish still has a bit of pepper and spice but not very strong, and it's short and clean. Body is medium at best, smoke output increased a little and the draw is firm but it's burning just fine. The 2nd third develops more of a smooth sweet earth flavor, losing the caramel. Smoke output increased again slightly, and the finish has a bit more pepper. 45 min in near the band point the draw opened up and flavors transitioned to a caramel and butterscotch coffee, really a delicious combo! Body is still medium, smoke output is voluminous and the burn is perfect. Ending at 1:10 the final third was the same from the last change.
