'We see a conservative government going down the line of the socialist state': Farage

Brexit Leader Nigel Farage says it is as if feminists and those who stand up for women’s rights have been “pushed to one side” and parents treated like “they don’t matter” as the UK government pushes new gender laws.

It comes as the UK government has faced scrutiny over anew gender conversion law, which it is feared could inadvertently criminalise parents.

“We see a conservative government, going down the line of the socialist state," Mr Farage told Sky News Rowan Dean.

“That shows you, I think, what a weak man Boris Johnson is ... listening to those in the tight little circle around him who are wholly unrepresentative of the country as a whole.”
