Auguste Picard, 1st High Altitude Balloon, 1931

Auguste Picard was a physicist and explorer who was the first person in recorded history to reach 51,000+ feet in a high altitude balloon in 1931. This video documents this historic voyage and his comments of what he saw when he was this height over our Earth.
