Achatina giant

The length of the shell of an adult snail usually does not exceed 5-10 cm,although individual specimens longer than 20 cm are known.The shell is conical,most often twisted counterclockwise,although there is also a reverse direction.In old achatins,the shell has 7 to 9 turns.The color of the shell depends on the environment and diet.In most cases,it has bands of reddish -brown and yellowish shades.
