Hispanic voters are now even more divided between parties, poll finds A new poll shows that the nation's diverse and large Hispanic voter base is splitting its support more evenly between Democrats and Republicans than in recent elections. This is a worrying development for Democrats, who have long relied on Hispanic support. The survey revealed that Hispanic voters have a split vote for Congress one year after voting for Democratic House candidates with more than 60% of the vote. When asked which party they would vote for if there was an election today, 37% of Hispanic voters indicated that they would support the Republican candidate for Congress, while 37% stated they would support the Democrat. 22% were undecided.
