[E48] GoPro Hero 5 Black vs YI 4k+ MotoVlog test . How is the Hero5 for MotoVlogging? HawK250

For this ride I used 2.4k resolution with 60 fps, external mic, Pro tune on, auto iso with a max of 6400 so I get some night shots, it does remarkable well in the dark. I prefer superwide view...
Since my GoPro Hero 4 died, I have been looking for a good or better replacement to do my motovlogging, so far I tested the YI 4k plus, and I was not impressed at all, so I bought the Hero 5 Black. It has better low light than my Hero 4, higher resolution settings and other things I won't be using, but one thing I dis-like is the fact that if you use one button quick start, the external microphone DOES NOT WORK! That is a big bummer because it saves battery life and it's so much easier when you are vlogging. So to get the external mic to record, you have to start the camera with the power button and then press the record button. I am hoping the block mic adapter will charge the GoPro while I use it, that would be a plus! I will be testing that soon
I zoom 200% (or 2X) in a few sections of my video to test it. Should be equivalent to 720P. We will see.
I am getting the Garmin, it's on it's way, so get ready for a comparison.
I did turn off the voice commands, Bluetooth and GPS to save battery life.
Hooked up the power and mic at same time on motorcycle, works great, kept battery at 100%
At the end we see a girl pissing next to a house with porta potty's a few feet away, LMFAOOO
