This 5x54 box pressed stick features a dark milk chocolate slightly mottled wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, soft rounded corners, an even spongy pack, silky smooth feel, single cap and rich cedar and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with copious amounts of thick smooth medium bodied smoke with flavors of vanilla, earth and black pepper on a fairly short clean finish. The first third amps up the body to medium-full, brings the pepper forward with a bit of spice, the sweetness goes to a bit of apricot and a dark cocoa joins in while the finish grows long. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 30 minutes the performance is perfect holding 1"+ ash, a razor sharp burn and plentiful smoke. Flavors are very much typical Padron dessert-like with a cocoa, dark coffee and the vanilla returning with the continued present but not overbearing pepper and spice zing. Ending at 55 minutes the last third showed no further changes.
