Isaiah Meanderings (19): Chs 20-22 Presuming as Normal Things That Will Soon Be Gone & Lost Forever

Isaiah continues to emphasize the future downfall and impotence of a variety of powers, he even walks around in his undergarments and barefooted, trying to get a better hearing from the people of Judah; that they might understand how truly passing - fleeting - temporary the powers around them are. They, too, as a nation are presuming as Normal - things that will soon be gone and lost forever. God's will and purposes will prevail until human hearts understand and return to the God who alone is able to save, correct, and make right - for all of creation.
