Padron 1926 Series 40th Anniversary Natural Torpedo Aged Cigar Review

This 6.5x54 stick has a few years of age on it so it'll be interesting to see how things have changed! It features a dark chocolate firmly packed satin wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a faint char and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with mild-medium bodied flavors of a dry slightly sweet cocoa, smooth texture and long finish adding a pepper zing over the tongue. The first third comes up to a medium body with flavors of a smooth sweet dry cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla and a long finish of the same with the pepper zing. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes slowing the burn a bit, with the flavors shifting to a musty sweet leather, creamy texture and notes with the finish dropping the pepper going to a sweet earth. Ending at 1 hour the last third kept the same body but ramped up the strength to medium-full still with perfect construction.
