Hypolimnas bolina is a butterfly with a black body and a spacing of 70 to 85 mm between the wings. The male and female of this species of butterfly can be visually identified. The upper part of the wing is black. Three pairs of white spots can be seen on the upper side. There are two pairs on the front wing and one pair on the rear wing. Purple can be seen glowing around these waterfalls. In addition, numerous small white spots can be seen on the upper side of the wing. The upper part of the wing of the female butterfly is brownish-black. There will be no stains on it. The edges of the wing are pointed.It is found in intermittent wooded areas, deciduous forests, dense bushes and lush green habitats.
