Wildfires continue to rage in California. The 3 largest of them at the moment, the so-called Dixie, Bridge and Caldor fires. The Dixie fire has continued for almost 2 months now, and has become the largest wildfire in the history of the state. Local authorities faced a devastating blaze that engulfed more than 215,000 hectares.
To date, the fires have been localized to only 45 percent of the total area engulfed in flames. More than 5600 specialists work on extinguishing.
