From Glory To Glory
Dr. Gary Denbow
2 Corinthians 3:4-18

Verse 12: Calvary gives Paul such hope that he speaks boldly. He will not veil his face as Moses did. Paul wants the glory of Jesus to shine in such a way that everyone will be drawn to the summit – to Calvary!

Verse 14: The people of Moses’ day could not stand to see the glory of God because their minds were hardened. Exodus 32:1-6:
1. The people were rebellious
2. They were idolatrous
3. They were ungodly in their daily living.

Verse 15: Paul points to an order of people who still have the veil on their hearts. They have committed the sins of the Israelites. They are rebellious, idolatrous, and ungodly. They do not want to hear from God. They do not want to hear His word. They do not want to see His glory.

Verse 16-18: The promise of verse 16! When one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. There is no longer any need to hide from God. Sin had been dealt with on the cross!
