Do you "OWN" your motorcycle? Or does it "OWN" you?

Many of us, own motorcycles. Hell, there are a lot of people that own multiple motorcycles. I am in the market to buy another right now. The question I am asking is not about the ownership of the property, but more to the point of the riding time and the time you use on your motorcycle that could be spent doing other things. Do you see a nice day and think "man I need to go ride to get value out of my bike"? I personally ride when I feel like riding. Today I rode a good 150 miles met up with a friend and the conversation we had really got me thinking on the way back, "Do I own my motorcycle, or does it own me?"
