Bang Saen Beach - closest beach to Bangkok - November 2021

Bang Saen Beach in Chonburi Province is just over 100 km east of Bangkok. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s because it’s not a beach that would make it on a “top ten beaches of Thailand” list, let alone top 100. The attraction is the location and beach activities.

In Thailand though it’s a popular beach destination, especially for Bangkokians who want a quick beach break. It’s a place to hang out with friends and eat seafood, with a water view and sea breeze to go with it. It’s a great place for Thais to spend a day or weekend away from the city.
