Journal Entry Gratitude

Hello precious family, I hope you guys are staying sweet and being awesome. This is one of my journal entries from a conversation Lord Jesus and I had  that I wanted to share with you. I pray it blesses you and that you receive the grace to be more grateful especially in these times .

Jesus began
I want to thank you for your gratitude Rainbow,  so very very very few know the very meaning of gratitude.  Even fewer practice it . To be grateful is to genuinely give thanks,  to enter my gates with praise for all that you have received.  Not just in the big things but in the little things as well.  Many know this but it bears repeating as much as possible.  You see when you only show gratitude for the big things you get you miss the little things I give you daily for your happiness and wellbeing.  Think about it most of you have running water in your homes , it is so common placed to you that you just know it is there but from the moment there is an interruption in one the main pipe system and there needs to be repaired and the water goes for a day you all of a sudden realize just how much it was a luxury to have . Some of my children have not had the opportunity to have clean or even running water for months , things like indoor plumbing and a dishwasher are so foreign to them .  It is the little things my dear one that bring you the most joy when you are grateful for them .  As the old saying goes, count your blessings . But what blessings are they talking about?  The big ones ? But you don't receive as many big blessings as you do little ones everyday . So many little blessings that if you were to count them your cup would indeed be full and running over . As I have told you before . So very few come to me to say thank you when they get what they want .  The majority of prayers that come to me are for stuff that are wanted " God i want this , God I want that " some do not even ask please.  Some are very demanding and give me a time frame to work with.  I discourage no one from asking for what they want and I am always delighted to shower my children with blessings but I seldom hear gratitude for what is given , i seldom see my children sit down and really contemplate what they have and how much it is a blessing versus those that do not have , especially in the little things that are given each day that my children take for granted.  I hardly ever hear my children say good morning to me or even " lord how was your day today " but I do hear a lot of complaining. Complaining is quite different from travail.  To travail for the sake of the world and for others is an act of love and has great merit with the father but to complain is liken more so to that one person you have in your life that always walks around like they live in hell , they always have something negative to say about their life , they can never find something to be grateful for , nothing is good enough for them because it's not what they want and not how things should be according to their standards.  Don't you feel like staying away from people like that Rainbow , Don't they wear you out with their negativity?

I replied
Yes they do lord , it saps all the energy out of you and this may not be the case for you lord but for me it really tries my patience.  It sucks to know that we all get this way sometimes if not all the time . We forget all the good things you do for us as soon as things don't go our way or we go through pain . I am sorry lord please forgive me .

He continued
Well this is what I have to go through every day with my children. Do you know that demons sap the most energy out of you from complaining.  That is why being near or even talking to people like that saps your energy because the demons feed heavily off of that negative energy.  Praise and Gratitude is a great weapon I have given my children to use against the enemy.  Demons can't stand gratitude and they can't stand positivity that is why they try to get you always in a state of fear , doubt and everything negative.  In fact it is how you choose to respond to these things that set up your day . For example if you were to wake up and let's say hit your pinkie toe at the edge of the bed or you wake up late . That negative energy you give off courses throughout your whole day and then you notice things just go bad from there on out versus you having that bad moment and finding something else to find joy in that day , then things change.  If only that negative soul could be grateful for the little things you wouldn't believe how happier that soul would be .  Be thankful in the midst of your trials my dear , I know that is hard because you are in pain , you are hurting but I guarantee that gratitude and praise is your greatest weapon through your trials . When you really sit down and contemplate my goodness,  my faithfulness and all that I have given to you no matter how small and you thank me for it , you gain much strength to go on . You gain the graces you need to overcome and most of all you put the demons to flight.  Try it out sometime my dear when you are hurting and in pain , bring to remembrance all the times I have been faithful and good to you,  in your trials , in your daily life and even when you didn't ask . Thank me for every little thing you see as a blessing and think about all those that are not so fortunate as you . Begin then to thank me in all sincerity and see if you do not feel strengthened.  If you feel like you can't then show Satan that you will not put up with his bullying and turn on your worship.  Enter my gates with praise and see if things don't at least get better in your spirit. 
I come to all those who are grateful for everything,  for those who are so grateful that they pour that love out on others  who are not so fortunate and as they keep giving,  I keep giving.  As they keep praising I keep drawing closer .

Another great lesson that many will eventually come to learn is to thank me for their sufferings and trials of life as they learn to offer up every inconvenience and suffering to me .  There are many things that come out of these things.  Graces are sent out to you or others who desperately need it . Souls are waking up and being saved . Lessons and growth in self are being accomplished , love is being increased ,hidden  sins are being revealed and worked out , faith is being increased.  So many many things that are great blessings are happening behind the scenes that you don't even know.  But  when you go through the perfect life without learning anything your soul becomes lukewarm and cold. you do not learn or accomplish much at all . When you see your rewards in heaven or even the ones on earth it would shock you to know that it is the little inconveniences , the trials , the sufferings that has brought about this much fruit you would be stunned . If my children looked at it this way and thanked me for this even when they didn't feel like it , it would give you much graces to endure and move on with your daily life.

I wish for you and my children to make a habit of being grateful and praising.  To be more attentive to the little blessings that I send you every day and make an active decision to be grateful,  even when you do not feel like it or even when it's hard for this brings me much joy and it will give you much grace to carry on especially in this time .

Please continue to trust me to provide for you and your family as there are many things coming soon my bride and this lesson will be very much needed by the world.  Continue to store what little you can my dear . I must say thank you for obeying me and doing this my love.( he said with a smile alluding  to the topic ) The little you accumulate will indeed add up as you continue and it will multiply and overflow for you and others,  This I promise you!

So it's very ironic I got this message because mother Elisha had posted a message entitled " Do whatever he asks you "and it spoke a little bit on this topic.  I thought to myself " Oh my goodness, God is so good " because he wanted me to share this message with you guys. 
Then while recording this I remembered that it is November the month of Thanksgiving so I googled the holiday because we do not celebrate it here in the Caribbean nationally .  All I have gathered from research was some quite disturbing history and also that  it was a time of feasting,  watching the parade and a game of sorts for some people and not so much for others . It was a day of Thanksgiving.   In my perspective I think God made this holiday for a reason where family and friends can come together and remember all that Jesus has done for us and to be thankful and grateful for all the blessings given to us before we come to the closing of the year .  It should be a time of praise and thanks to God without being frivolous and getting into gluttony but pouring that love and gratitude out on others . We could find ways to give back to those who have no one to spend Thanksgiving with them . Or give food boxes to those on the street . Have our children make little cards to give to others on that day to celebrate God's goodness and love.  Even a small token of love to our family members or just saying Thank you.  There are so many simple ways we can show gratitude and if you ask God for the graces he will give it to you.  So Happy Thanksgiving family!
