RONNIE DIAO is a seasoned and versatile performer, who, all these years has maintained his followers in every gig he does.

A well-traveled artist, he has toured the key cities in Asia---mostly in Japan where he was the most requested artist in the biggest and most popular music venue in Fukuola named Dazai Supper Club in a span of 11 years.

He broke all sales records during his 6-month performance in Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching, Malaysia. He landed in the local newspaper in Kuching when the news about his performance spread in the city.
He was also well received in Holiday Inn, Jakarta, Indonesia, Beijing in China, Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, Hyatt Regency in Dubai, Hotel Intercontinental in Abu Dhabi, Hotel Intercontinental in the Republic of Oman in the United Arab Emirates.

On the local front, he was the toast of his band in almost all of the hotels in Manila until he went solo. He continued to capture his audiences, mostly male at that, in other venues due to his musical renditions of Lou Rawls, who they say is his sound-alike, Neil Diamond hits, and other nostalgic pieces and contemporary ones.

Despite being on his own with only a pianist accompanying him, he tries to sound like a full band with his arrangements of soul and jazz music.

Prior to the lockdown, he was still actively performing for private parties like weddings, birthdays, and conferences, which were all canceled because of the pandemic.
Ronnie is an awardee for Best Male Performer in Hotels, Bars, and Restaurants in 2012 accorded to him by the Aliw Awards Foundation, the only award-giving body for live entertainers in the Philippines.
He was also awarded the World Class Excellence Japan Awards(WCEJA) for World Class Performer of the Year in October 2019.

Currently, Ronnie is recording his original compositions of gospel songs which will soon be on Amazon and Spotify.
