Protests against CCP's Decision to Cancel #Mongolian Language Education Continue in Inner Mongolia.
The Education Department of the #CCP in Inner Mongolia has issued a request that beginning with the new school term on 1 September, ethnic schools throughout the region will adopt the so-called bilingual education model and, starting with the first grade of elementary school and the first grade of junior high school, use Chinese instead of Mongolian as the language of instruction. This prompted protests from ethnic Mongols.
