Hong Kong Police Suppressed and Arrested Protesters 港警镇压、抓捕抗议者

Hong Kong legislative council election was to take place on September 6, but the government postponed it for at least one year in the name of epidemic prevention. Some citizens launched a parade, demanding that the election be restarted. The Hong Kong Police announced that any protests would be banned. A large number of riot police were dispatched in the downtown area. Almost 300 protesters were arrested by Sunday afternoon local time in the neighborhood of Jordon, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok.
9月6日，原本是香港立法會選舉，政府以防疫為名押後最少一年。有市民發起遊行，要求重啟選舉。香港警方高調宣布禁止任何遊行，并在闹市派驻大批防暴警察。當天下午，警方在香港佐敦、油麻地、旺角一帶截查拘捕多人。
