The Military Ignored President Trump on Afghanistan Withdrawal Planning

We’ve only been planning the AFghanistan withdrawal for years now. The last administration was ordered by the 45th President of the United States and Commander in Chief to withdraw on May 1 of 2021 so what happened to that planning? Nothing, unless the military ignored their CINC like they did with troop levels in Syria right? We are in serious trouble when the US military disobeys direct orders from the civilian authorities, serious trouble
