Mini-Truck (SE06 E07) GlowShift dual temp install, Mini eating up belts. ARM300 seizing?

Installed the GlowShift Dual temp gauge, messed with some jetting on the carb, too lean. Blew a brand new belt, then another belt in same locationas first belt, that THREE belts in the same location!
Is the supercarger seizing up because of the metal spurs I found, tightening too much or is the crankcase oil vapored air lubing it? I took the spurs out and cleaned up the rotors with 1200 grit sandpaper. Will install and try again with crank vent installed. Have to get some more belts of course! A TON MORE.
