The Sad Case of Rosemary Kennedy

Rosemary Kennedy, also known as the "Hidden Kennedy Daughter" was a lively and energetic woman. She was too emotional as well and couldn't control her mood swings at times.

Her father feared that she will become a family embarrassment in case she came home pregnant. He had 2 doctors perform a lobotomy on Rosemary, without his Wife's knowledge. This is in hopes of fixing her. Instead, she came out of the operating room as unable to talk or walk.

She was just 23 and was left imprisoned inside her body for the next 63 years of her life, away from her family, in a place where no one can find or recognize her.
