I looked out the only window in the factory.

It was the only source of light from the outside.

The power had gone off just moments before, just as the radio had just started to wail away with the sever storm warning.

In the silence of the moment I yelled TORNADO.

Not exactly sure why but the odd things swirling about the sky above the tavern across the parking lot might of been the dead give away.

Now there were ten of us standing in the middle of the lot and only one person had his wits about him and screamed basement as he ran like a linebacker at the quarterback.

The door gave way and we all piled in behind him.

Laying there in a mess of twisted bodies we heard a voice from whom did not make it in.

ITS OVER.

Rising to the occasion we all pitched in to help the displaced, to provide comfort to those who needed to know it was going to be okay.

The mass destruction was not going to detour us.

Didn't really know what faith was until that day and I've carried that faith through and will continue to do so. #dbrn
