The full size 1911 pistol is a timeless classic design that is the most copied firearm in history. In today's market, manufacturers have responded to concealed carry by offering carry sized 1911 pistols also.

Carry model 1911 pistols typically have a shorter slide than the full sized which also makes the sight radius shorter also. Some of the very small 1911 carry models can have issues cycling. You need to know that the firearm you carry concealed is going to be reliable when you need it and the only way to do that is to get it to the range.
