Doodletown - Hike Around the Lost Town

Welcome back! Today, we spent the day #hiking around #Doodletown at #BearMountain in NY. See as how it is mostly forest and trails with a few features like a small #dam, it is interesting to think how at one point there was actually a thriving town in that exact location. What is left, after leaving as well as eminent domain, are a few foundations and what may be a still active family #cemetery. It is quite the task to try and imagine it from the few signs describing what stood there along with an old photograph that dot the old road/trail. Hope you enjoy!
