B Encouraged: Psalm 27 - Even When Abandoned by Family, God's Love Upholds Us - Visibly (11/23/2021)

Psalm 27 is a Psalm full of promise. 'Though my father and mother forsake me,' People who shouldn't disappoint us can. Yet, David is able to say, 'I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.' David knew abandonment, dislike from family members, but he, also, knew the love of God that comforts beyond rejection and injustice. A love that is seen. That shows up. That takes us beyond the sins of others that wrongly dismiss us and wrongly define us. Bringing life and joy to life here and now. B Encouraged.
