Rhodesian Ridgebacks should have great endurance with a fair amount of speed, but they're also loyal dogs who don't like leaving their old lady owners alone in the bush. This is another reason teaching them to 'send', 'wait' & 'come' comes in handy for those of us past running marathons; you can easier give them those gallops they need while you gently stroll.
