Boskalis Wins EUR 450 Million Offshore Wind Contract.
Boskalis has been awarded an approximately EUR 450 million contract for transportation and installation of monopile foundations and substations for an offshore wind project.
The company informed about the new contract on 15 November without disclosing any specific details about its client or the offshore wind project, other than information that engineering and pre-construction work had already commenced and that project execution was scheduled to commence in 2023.?

In terms of Boskalis’ operations, the new contract ties up one year of crane vessel utilisation days, in addition to the equivalent of two years of heavy transport vessels, according to the company.
Along with a fleet of heavy transport vessels, Boskalis also owns two heavy lift crane vessels, Bokalift 1 and Bokalift 2, with the latter currently undergoing conversion in Dubai and set to enter into service early next year.
