To reduce shoulder pain, do these basic exercises three to six times each week. Begin with a 10-minute practice and progressively increase the time as your strength and flexibility improve.
Focus on relaxing and releasing any tension in your shoulders and anyplace else you feel tightness while doing these exercises.
On any given day, only stretch to the extent that is comfortable. Don't push yourself above your limits, and if you suffer pain that is more than minor discomfort, stop doing the exercises.
