On the Day of Thanksgiving, many people say they are "thankful" but the focus is on temporal and material things. Of course, we ought to be thankful for all good things but our thanks should be directed toward God and begin with our thanks for sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and defeat death, sin and Hell as He rose bodily from the grave!
