Luke 5:1-11

Day by day Jesus is preaching and teaching His Word. He is casting the net of His Gospel into this world. He’s drawing drowning people into His Church. He is joining them to Himself in Holy Baptism. He is forgiving you and all believers in His absolution. He is strengthening and nourishing young and old with His body and blood under bread and wine. He is preserving you and all his “fish” in His Word until the final day. And when that last day comes, He will have gathered you and all those who believe into His heaven, eternally safe and secure eternally.
