Can Christians Practice Yoga? - A Loving Perspective

Finding the answer to this current Christian yoga controversy by looking back 2000 years.

Do yoga and Christianity mix? Is yoga a philosophy? Is it okay for you to take yoga if you are a Christian? What if a friend tells you yoga is demonic or you shouldn't be doing it?

We are going to use Scripture to address the controversy of yoga within the Christian community from a New Covenant - Law of Love perspective. I encourage you to watch the WHOLE video. The ministry of Keola® is all about grounding you in truth, love, and doing our best to pursue peace with everyone even as we hold out faith, hope, and love courageously and truthfully by the power of the Holy Spirit. Confusion and condemnation are not allowed here. It is my prayer that they are obliterated in your heart as you think on and talk to God about what is shared here. We are not creating the controversy, but we won't be afraid to speak into it and openly share what is true so you can cut through the emotions and pride that often drive the arguments. If something you read or hear makes you uncomfortable, go to God with it. We don't need to bury those things. He's faithful to shine light on them, so don't be afraid to ask Him. I'm asking you to set aside your judgments. Ironically, people shut down and often make wrong assumptions with both the terms "yoga" and "alternative to yoga". May God give you fresh eyes and a humble, loving heart. God loves you so much and so do we!
