The good, bad and ugly on new election bils.

Four bills were rushed through a joint Rules Committee vote and will probably be quickly passed in a matter of hours, so here is our take on SB 724, SB 725, SB 326, and HB 259. The only deal killer bill (SB 724) has a provision that increases secrecy in elections and opens the door to on-line voting. The GOP-led bill is being sold as a service to visually impaired voters, but setting up the on-line system brings us one "emergency" order away from closing the polls and requiring ALL votes to be cast through the on-line portal. Oh sure! Why not just hand our elections over to those ol' Russian hackers? Don't be fooled by this bill.Democrats openly criticized it in committee, but they will laugh behind your backs about how they got RINOs to do their bidding.
