Seven Simple French Cooking

There's NO RECIPE with this episode because we aren't cooking here. Indeed, much of our class in Marion Cunningham's kitchen was like this: deeply informative. The author discussed at the beginning is Richard Olney, an American who moved to France and wrote the definitive "Simple French Food". Marion was friends with several food writers -- journalists -- like herself who search for authentic home cooks who have recipes to share.

NOTE: It takes two hands to shoot video and it takes two hands to eat, so I had to choose when the table was set. I chose not to use my hands for the camera and saved them for the meal. Indeed, that was the "money shot" -- the table at the end here.

Marion's motto was "we must sit down and eat together at the table" -- and she drove home that point in her writing and public appearances, as well as these wonderful once-in-a-lifetime classes.
