Gender = Fashion

First encountered the title via Jordan Peterson, who, for whatever faults he may have, has done a lot of work towards the same goal I have: stopping the trans train before it hits the children waiting at Gare de Lyon station.

Seeing gender as fashion either sex can put on, and nothing more exciting then that, is to not see women's performance of femininity as our natural state. It's hard for me to reconcile that degree of compassion with the idea that he somehow hates women or has contempt for what women go through.
